ALL IN ONE SURVIVOR

This is a followup review on the two (2) Midland ER102 that I purchased from Staples; the sale transaction was excellent along with their speedy UPS delivery. I purchased two as a gift to grand children who are Boy Scouts. After the initial charge of the internal battery, all of the features are working so far. Using the ac/dynamo mode, the sound is clear for the FM, AM, and WX radio broadcasts; the flashlight works and the radio gives the outside temperature and local time. All the alarms and warnings work. So far so good; I am more than satisfied with the Midland ER102 and so far works as advertised with no problems so far.

The power cord doesn't work after 3 week

This radio works great on batteries and wind up power, but the converter cord is awful and doesn't work after the third week. What a waste of money.

We purchased the weather radio less than a month before tornadoes touched down in the metropolitan St Louis area. The radio sounded alerts continually and we had a chance to operate it on the built in battery system as well as trying the crank charger. We were very satisfied with the performance of this radio

It was a little hard for me to understand how to get started, but once I did it works great - no problem. Great when lights go out and no radio or weather great help. My grandson loves it, guess he will be getting one.
