Although I have used a cell phone for business for over a decade, I had been deferring purchasing a Bluetooth for the past 18 months, as I believed it was just a "nice" to have and not a "necessity" to have. About one year ago I upgraded to a Smart Phone, and began using more features of a cellular telephone than I had in the past. As I conduct an increasing amount of business over the telephone, and continually have to refer to documents in files and sometimes many documents simultaneously to have a relevant conversation, I found it inconvenient to keep using speaker phone, and moving the telephone with me.

Finally, I moved this purchase from the nice category to the necessity category.

In looking into what brand, style, and model might be the best fit for my needs, I asked several people who had different brands of this type of device. Consistently, I had negative or comments with reservation about other models, some which cost significantly more than the Motorola Bluetooth. The Bluetooth users had consistent positive comments about their device and their experience.

I found the brand and model had received high scores from rating organizations, and the price was in fact, becoming lower.

I purchase many business items at Staples, and went to their nearby store to further investigate.
Their employees were very helpfull, assuring me I could return it if I was not satisfied, but stating that "they did not often get them back". They showed my how to wear it, and it immediately synched with my cell phone.

Since purchasing the Bluetooth, and using it with increasing frequency, I find it easy to use, easy to wear and convenient to store when not in use. It folds up nicely and fits in the receptacle identified as the "ashtray", but in reality, is a change collector! The quality of transmissions have been excellent, with clear conversations. The volume is easy to change, as is the on/off button. Although I wear clip earrings, it is easy to wear the over-the-ear device; I had been concerned that I would need to take my earrings off, that has not been the case at all.

I am no longer asked if the caller "is on speaker phone".

The background noise interference feature has worked well. I have had the car radio on and forgot to turn it off when I answered a call, but the caller did not detect background noise. The position of the device is comfortable and does not interfere with my glasses or earrings.

In summary: I am very pleased with my Bluetooth!

Have been through many bluetooth headsets from different manufactures. The most comfortable I had up to this point was the Plantronics Voyager HD Pro. But it had it's issues with connect/disconnect at short distances away from my phone and different phones. And it's noise cancel technology actually increaded the background noise instead of filtering it out. Many Techs I know say the same thing about theirs. We all had the same. So after the center piece that goes around the ear breaks for the 2nd headset that Plantronics replaced I decided to try the Motorola Hint. It won't stay in the ear when you start getting sweaty and people can't hear you. Then this headset. It sounds good and volume can go loud (I like since I have hearing loss) but it hurts like hell after awhile in the ear and around the earhook end area. End of earloop pokes into my ear. Yes, I tried the other loops that come with it. And a couple of times people have said that they couldn't hear me. Soooo, every headset has it's quarks. If the earloop and insert were softer material I could deal with this headset. But as of now probably going to take it back.

Comments about Motorola HX600 Boom Bluetooth:

while the Motorola HX 600 , is a fine blue tooth,
the battery life on stand-by is poor compared to my Motorola H710 & H730 even my old Motorola H620 had a much longer stand-by time, l also find the ease of use is not as good as the afore mentioned blue tooth.
Thank you for giving me a chance to give my review

Awesome Product

Comments about Motorola HX600 Boom Bluetooth:

I have tried a number of more expensive bluetooth devices, and have found most of them sorely lacking. This product is wonderful and easy to use. The sound is clear, and the device fits in my ear well. The flip piece on the end of the device saves battery life by turning off when it is shut. I usually am on the phone most of the day making and receiving calls, and have found the battery life to be compatible with my business day. If you are considering a device such as this, check out the Motorola HX600. You will not be dissapointed.

Great Bluetooth devise for my phone

Comments about Motorola HX600 Boom Bluetooth:

Great bluetooth devise for my Galaxy 3. I have had others and they were never loud enough. The volume and clarity on this unit is excellent. The range is good, could be better, but it works for me. I like that it is small and fits my ear with comfort. I can also play music through it from my phone, which I enjoy when I am working out. I have had several other models from other companies and now having this, I would buy it again.
