Does software need to be purchased separately in order for the scanner to relay the barcode information to my PC? For example, we want to pay for online items using Gift Cards and want to use the scanner to post the Gift Cards for payment. Do we need to purchase software to accomplish this task?

  Software does need to be purchased separately in order to use this product with a computer. For example a program like 'Wasp Barcode Nest Laser Suite Business Edition,' is required to perform and accomplish the desired task.

Q:
Is this the correct scanner to use with QB Point of Sale Pro Version 10? What all is needed to connect this to my system in order to have it scan into the QB Point of Sale system? Also, is software needed for this to work? And how would I create and what would I need to create the barcodes? I will be using the Avery brand labels to print on.
