    The Nook HD+ is a terrific buy, especially with holiday discounts. The screen resolution is quite simply beautiful. I've owned other e-readers and tablets over the past several years ranging from 6-10 inches in size. I'm very impressed with ease of holding the weight and size of the Nook HD+.

    I've been fairly satisfied with the quality of apps that come with the HD+ and the ones I've downloaded from Barnes & Noble. I would prefer also to have access to apps with which I'm familiar from the Google Play Store.

    I've purchased a cover/stand that works well. I had a difficult time finding a compatible bluetooth keyboard. An iPad keyboard was recommended to me and it works! I'm still waiting for the HDMI adapter to be available. I'm not bothered by the HD+ not having cameras. With my hearing impairment, I would prefer the speakers to have better volume, but headphones work fine.

    The Nook HD+ has worked well for me for a variety of uses from editing docs, watching videos, and reading email, to reading ebooks. I've loaded many videos, music files, ebooks, and docs onto a memory card that I've put in my Nook.

    For someone who is not familiar with mobile devices the Nook takes some time (and frustration) to figure out. It would help if the Nook came with videos that showed people in action doing the various simple manipulations necessary to get results. Even the very simplest of things need to be explained. I couldn't get the newspaper I ordered for several days because I didn't realize that I had to have the wi-fi on to get it. For a while I thought that my Nook was broken. I don't see why I have to buy a special book to learn how to use the Nook efficiently. All of that should come packaged with the Nook when you buy it.

      The clarity of the screen is amazing! It does a lot just like the Ipad but is much cheaper. Its great to read books,mags,and watch movies on it. Its faster and lighter, making it easier to carry for traveling, because you can check email and go on the web and go to you favorite websites! The only con is that some apps I like I cannot get on the Nook. I would recommend this to anyone it is worth the money!
