This ebook reader is great! I love how it keeps your PDF's in file folders like on your computer. Makes it easier to find things. You don't need the shelve feature for the PDF's. Has a very clear screen. The touch screen is the most responsive I have ever seen. I had the first nook and I have had a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. I like this better than both. This also offers the option to read books from your local library which the Amazon Kindle doesn't. I love the barnes and noble book store and the ease of buyer a book rather than the [...]. The ereader is shaped to fit your hand perfect.

        You need to fix the software so that when you click on your nook emblem, you are back to your reading. Having to swipe the ereader is a big pain.

        Your first edition had this feature. You woke it up and presto you were there.

          STAPLES has terrible sales personnel. Salesperson pushed the extended warrany really hard on me. This is very unprofessioanl and root - I tald him like 6 times I do not need it. Terrible!

            just got nook...put PDF book and looks good on nook.

            advertise says 2 gig but 240 MB for PERSONAL use only.
            1gig system and 750 for B&N use (if anybody knows how to take 750mb please let me know. don't want to install android though)

            bad content management....you can't delete from device. but one good thing.......you can use windows folder structure to manage the books

            there are not many free books on B&N website.

            3rd of the home page taken by B&N for best sellers advertisement (let me know how to take this out)

                The NOOK Simple Touch is an e-reader, not a tablet. It's designed solely for use as a reader. If you want to access email, play games etc you need to upgrade to one of the NOOK tablet products.
