Q: I have a xbox 360, it doesn't have built in wi-fi and my modem is in my room and xbox 360 in the living room and want to play online but hate playing in my room will netgear broadband work Asked on 7/25/2012 by i work at a pawn shop from Dallas,tx Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The Netgear Broadband ADSL2+ is a modem for ADSL2+ internet service. It's used simply to connect your internet service to a computer or wireless router. It won't help you if you already have a modem connecting to the internet. What you'd need to get is a wireless adapter for your Xbox 360 and a wireless router. You'd attach the modem to your wireless router, which would then send out signals that would be picked up by the wireless adapter on the Xbox. Answered on 7/25/2012 by Community Answer from None

Q: What is the download rate for this modem? Asked on 2/8/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Theoretically ADSL2+ modems can have a download rate of 24 MB/sec, but the actual rate seems to be more in the 15-20 MB/sec range; the speed is effected by several factors, including users distance from the DSL exchange (farther distance= lower speed) and the DSL provider itself.
