This Netgear ProSafe switch is ready to install right out of the box. Just plug it in, and allow it to automatically detect network settings, speeds, and cable types, optimizing data flow and bandwidth.

Easy Installation

The Netgear ProSafe works right out of the box. Turn it on and plug in your Ethernet connections, and it automatically begins managing your network traffic. Workstations with no Ethernet port or that need more than standard Ethernet speed can be upgraded to 10/100 Fast Ethernet connectivity by installing a Netgear Gigabit Ethernet PCI adapter. The ProSafe comes with a rack installation kit, or you can simply place it flat on an uncluttered surface.

Automated Switching

The Netgear ProSafe takes care of all the basic networking tasks for you, switching bandwidth and duplexing as needed by the network. It is fully compatible with all major operating systems.

Simple Troubleshooting

The ProSafe uses different colored LED lights on the front face to let you know its line status. If something in your network crashes, the diagnostic lights can help you quickly identify the issue.
