Netgear has tech support that is almost worse than ATT. I spent hours talking to marginally literates in Bangalore before I found out my brand new notebook is not on Netgear's compatibility list which is not mentioned anywhere. Any shred of helpfulness stopped then. I called Acer got clear, consise, excellent support, escalated to Texas. Some research by the support tech showed this specific computer has been tested with this specific device and works fine. I returned it for refund.

We use to drag out the wires to connect the computer to the TV, it was such a hassle, but now...its so easy, just click and we are up and running. A great product. We have not had any problems with it.

  The laptop would need to have an Intel Wireless Display powered by a 2nd generation Intel Core processor. It's not an issue in itself to just have the Vista OS, however, most, if not all of the 2nd generation processors will be on laptops running Windows 7.
