  • Q:

Does this device stream TV from Netflix? I didn't like mixed review for NeoTV devices. I have DSL at 2.8 Mbps. does this work with these devices? I was wondring if the complaints about NeoTV depende on Internet medium (DSL or Cable).

    • A:

Netgear Push2TV displays content from your computer onto your TV. It does not stream content from the web, rather it takes content you already have on your PC and displays it. So, it is not dependent on how fast your Internet connection is. It is a different device altogether than NeoTV. NeoTV takes content, that its firmware allows you to access, from the web and stream it to your TV. Netflix is one example of that content as you mentioned. NeoTV is dependent on your Internet speed to stream content properly. A 2.8 mps bandwidth is too low to stream 1080p content. You need 4-8 mps.
