We were having problems with our wireless network dropping service to phones and notebooks in the basement. I set this up in a few minutes and we haven't had any issues since.

I've setup routers befoer an they require IP addresses and complicated configuration. This had very easy instructions and worked first try, without going through any config menus and tweaking settings.

I purchased this range extender to use in conjunction with my Netgear N600, dual band router....to provide house-wide, strong signal. It's hard to imagine anything easier to setup. No software disk to fool with. Just pushing a button on each unit, the router and the extender, is all that is required. You perform that procedure twice....once for each band. That's all. It has worked perfectly from the get-go. Been in use a couple of weeks now with zero problems. All wireless. No physical connection required between the router and the range extender.

I purchased the N600 dual band router a couple of months ago to alleviate our horrible speed slow downs during evening hours. Our neighborhood is literally saturated with 2.4 gHz users. This router does a great job for us on 5 gHz. BUT...the signal was not reaching all parts of the house so...back to the Staples store where I purchased this dual band range extender to solve the problem. Just picked it up this afternoon. Set up was almost unbelievably simple. No software CD's to fool with. Just plug it in, turn it on and push two buttons...twice each...to get it operating on both bands. Now we're enjoying full download speed we're paying for in all parts of the house and out on our patio. Works great with two wireless laptops and my wife's iPad. Worth every penny.
