      I was looking for the best customer rated wireless router and have tried others with 4.5 stars or higher, even other Netgear wireless routers and none of them have performed as good as this one. This router was easy to setup and I have not lost a connection yet. I have been using this router for about 3 weeks now and it has performed perfectly. I have my smart phone, printer, Tivo and soon to have a smart tv all linked to this router. I even purchased the Netgear wireless N Dual Band USB adapter and the adapter works perfectly with this router. I am currently using Windows XP Pro with SP3.

      It took 3 weekends and numerous calls, and I was never able to get a printer added to the wireless network. Telephone support stinks! On the third weekend I spent an hour repeating everything...Read complete review

      It took 3 weekends and numerous calls, and I was never able to get a printer added to the wireless network. Telephone support stinks! On the third weekend I spent an hour repeating everything I had told them the 2 previous weekends, even though I gave them the case #. Over the course of that hour all the tech did was ask me questions and put me on hold; he did nothing to help connect the printer. I finally told him I was returning the router, and he said no I HAD to try and set it up???

        Researching router options is anything but straight forward when reading all the negative comments. My 3 year old Lynksys required daily reseting, I have a MacPro and an iMac but didn't want to spend the $ for the Apple Airport Extreme. I had this [$] router up and operating in 10 minutes without a single problem (2 happy computers). I took my laptop 400 feet away from the router to my RV garage and had a strong signal, much better than my Lynksys. Proof of quality will be the longevity test.

          I bought a Linksys E1500 which was totally lousy. I took it back to the store and purchased this roaring machine which is blazing fast. My two sons are gamers, my wife does online banking and browsing, and I do almost anything online including my business. This mean machine does not fall short in fast response even when all the family is online in the same time. Well worth the money I paid for it.

            I had a Netgear N2000 and needed to cover a little more distance in my home. I bought this router and moved the Netgear to the other end of the house. I set up the old router as Wireless Access Point and ran a Cat 5 cable between the routers. It took a little while to figure out how to set it up. The good news is that when i would do it wrong, the little red factory reset button on the back of each router would bring me back to the beginning. After some online research and proper settings, both routers work great. We now have coverage all over the house.
