Saw it online, liked the price, picked it up on the way home from work yesterday. I had an older belkin G adapter that finally bit the dust after 3+ years of (admittedly) hard use and abuse. I have a frankenstein (aka custom built) pc running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I unwrapped, dropped in the disc, installed the driver ONLY.(Select install, then custom, then select use Windows Networking radio button at the bottom to avoid installing belkins wireless program)After installation, I was prompted to insert the adapter, which I did. (Side note, the extension & base is pretty slick, the base is an an angle & visually pleasing...to me at least. Blue LED light is not too bright either). Windows picked it right up and detected 4 nearby networks within 15 seconds.I was able to connect to my network after entering my password.I IMMEDIATELY went to [@] bandwidth test (google bandwidth test) and ran it. I was able to pull my internet providers advertised 10 mb/sec download speed.Overall, I am happy, I got exactly what I wanted without waiting. Yes, I could have found an adapter cheaper online, but I had work to do from home that night, so I needed it ASAP.I would recommend this to anyone, dirt cheap N wireless adapter, what else can I say?Oh yeah, not that anybody cares but specs are:ecs x58b-a mobointel core i7 920 cpu6x2gb ddr3 1333 mhz gskill ramsamsung dvd burnercorsair 650 watt power supplybfgtech nvidia geforce gtx 260 video card360 gb, 1.5 tb & 2x 1 tb hard drives, all sata 3.0...getting SSD december 16th :)50" hitachi plasma tv/monitorlogitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo and 5.1 thx surround

This is very nice *if* it works. It says it is compatible with Windows 7. This is not completely true. It does not work at all with 64bit. It will also not work with 32 Ultimate. The only PC I got this thing to run on was 32 Home. They have no additional drivers on their website and the tech support is horrid. Do yourself a favor and stick with a Belkin or other brand if you plan on using Win 7. Netgear has admitted themselves they aren't working too hard or fast to get drivers out for many of their products.

Comments about Netgear Wireless-N 150 USB Adapter:

I have an older pc that I still used as my home computer but it had to be hard wired to the wireless router because it didn't have wifi built in. I ended up moving the pc to another location but the wireless router stayed in the same location. Found out u definitely needed the Internet on the home pc for family use but didn't want to run a long ether cable to it so decided to try out this little wifi USB. It was pretty easy to set up and connect to the Internet. It found my wifi and there we went into cyberspace. We've only lost connection once so far in the last 2 week time period since we got it. Been great other than that.

Our old adapter was broken and had an antenna style to it which was inconvenient. This adapter fits in much better and is less likely to get broken or run into. Someone installed it for me with no problem. I would reccommend this product to others. The manager at Staples was vey nice and explained it to us. We needed to ge the computer fixed quickly. While in Staples we also noticed many other products for sale at a good price and I frequently shop there for gifts and small things fo school. I enjoy shopping at Staples!

The N 300 uses newer dual-band technology than the N 150. For the $10 price difference you better with the N 300. It will provide you with lots more options in the long run.

No this will not work properly with a Wireless-G router because it is a Wireless-N pickup. You will need to match the wireless types to create a working pair. I would suggest item number 565399.
