I play quite a bit of video games, and am very competitive, so when I purchased these, I did not plan on using them personally. I have two Sony branded PS3 controllers that are used frequently, but occasionally we have others over that would like to play 4-player party games. These were supposed to be for that use only, but I am very impressed with these controllers. The ONLY complaints that I have with them is that the thumbsticks are rather stiff, which may be favorable for some people and that they do not have the SixAxis accelerometer in them (the tilt feature) so some may not like it for that. The thumbsticks do start to "break in" as they use them, but to go from your old controller to one of these may take a little adjusting. I am very happy I purchased two of these and plan on using them a lot. And at the price they are I may get one or two more just as backup controllers! I also have used one on my PC when I play PC games, and it worked great there too. Just give it a minute or two to grab the drivers, then map out your controls and you're good to go!

You may not get the color shown in the picture. As I said earlier, I ordered 2 and I got one black and one red (which looks very sharp btw)
