We run a truck repair shop and use clipboards to hold work orders. In such a grimey enviornment you really don't want to pay top dollar for such things. I first purchased 6 because of the low price and found them to be so durable that I have purchased dozens more over the last few years. They perform as well as clipboards three times the cost. If the surface is a bit rugged for you they certainly could be given a coat of poly, paint or contact paper. I highly recommend!!

I love these inexpensive clipboards. Buying 3 in a pack is a far better deal online than in the store. I have used these for travel for myself and our kids. So often there isn't a hard surface to draw or write on. I use these at home to keep myself sane and organized. The plain design suits me, as I want functionality rather than beauty. Our kids love drawing right on the board or placing stickers on them.
