This thing is great and I use it a LOT in my packing business. Previously, when I needed a short piece of packing tape, I tore it off a hand-held dispenser. This required using both hands. With the desktop dispenser, I can hold the package closed with one hand and tear the tape off with the other. It may not sound like much, but the time savings really add up. The dispenser is as stable as a rock and does not slide around. Also, having the dispenser for smaller tape right next to the wide tape saves space and keeps the small tape right where I need it. I don't know how I got along without it!

I always hate fumbling with the packing tape roll and those handheld roll holders don't work well.. this product is a savior. It is so easy to unroll the packing tape and it tears off so easily. Having the added small tape contaier and pencil holder is wonderful. I use it to house my scissors for easy access.

I've never been able to master the handheld packing tape dispensers, so I've gone the "peel it off the roll and cut it with a scissors" route until now. It wasted time and tape - especially since I was folding over the end of the tape when I was done so that I could find the starting point next time. Most of my packing tape is used as a reinforcing seal on large envelopes; this dispenser is PERFECT for keeping the tape handy and ready to use. The additional smaller roll means that I have one dispenser on the mail desk; I use the pencil compartment to hold a bottle of glue upside down so it's ready to use.

I purchased two of these one for business and one for home. I liked the fact that you could keep everything in one place, especially when it comes to wrapping gifts. Initlally i was looking for an individual wide tape dispenser but it was only available in the thin tape not the wide tape. But after purchasing this it worked just as well was better having only one dispenser on the desk. Plus you can have pens,pencils and scissors and your disposal all at once. I would recommend this to a friend. It is very heavy so it is kept in one spot.
