Fast Printing

The OKI C330dn Digital Color Laser Printer warms up in less than 10 seconds and prints up to 25 ppm on black-and-white jobs and 23 ppm when using color. Automatic duplexing speeds up your double-sided jobs. For big jobs, the 128MB RAM built into the printer is usually adequate, or expansion slots allow you to expand your RAM to 640MB.

Stable, Secure Networking

Built-in 10/100 Ethernet gives you good network connectivity in your small office. User permissions are stored in the printer's memory, giving you great security. If you just need a standalone color laser printer, you can use a Staples 16' Gold USB 2.0 cable for the best possible results from your own computer.

Brilliant Color and Color Monitoring

HD color gives your print jobs brilliant color, and with a resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi, your printed images will always be sharp and easy to read. In addition, this OKI printer gives you the option of close color usage monitoring with the built-in Color Access Policy Manager, telling you who is using more color in their print jobs and helping you control this often-expensive budget item.

Flexible Printing Options

The regular 250-sheet paper tray can handle up to 8.5-inch by 14-inch paper. The 100-sheet multipurpose tray has the capability of printing up to 8.5-inch by 47-inch banners, all in full color.

It is good. Not very cheap. Unfortunately, it cannot be connected to internet through wireless. This is a big disappointment.

As a person who runs a small business out of our home and who has a wife that works as a teacher I can say this fits both needs! My wife used to print worksheets, reference material, etc. at work. Now she only does the largest runs at work. We actually print much more since getting this printer because the quality and speed is so good. On some photos it doesn't have the best quality but it works for anything we need, including detailed diagrams with small print and fine lines.
I think the mechanism inside the pop-up toner area could be a bit more sturdy but I've not had any problems with it. I suspect people could have issue though.
We use Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Ubuntu/Linux, and Android devices to print to this so...no compatibility issues at all.

This printer easily deserves a 5 star rating. I gave it a four star rating because of the cost of replacing toner cartridges. The color prints from this printer are bright and crisp. I have trouble telling the difference between prints from photo inkjet printers and the ones I have made from the Oki.
The only problem I encountered when I initially set the printer up was getting it to be recognized as a network printer. After 4 attempts, it finally became an active printer on the network. The rest of the setup was straight forward. This is my third laser printer and it far exceeds the reproduction qualities of my previous units by HP and Brother.

Exceptional color on plain paper: The color is smooth on the paper and it could easily replace an inkjet printer. However, this is not a printer to save costs on inkjet cartridges, reviewing OkiData manufacturer specs; this printer has nearly the same cost per use as several of the newer inkjet printers. Nevertheless this laser printer produces color worthy of photo printing.
I gave this printer a 4 star rating instead of 5 because the instructions for locking its toner cartridges are unclear and toner was split in the printer. Oxidata does provide first-rate tech support and my technician provided friendly, clear and easy instructions for toner removal.
Although clear setup instructions are lacking, I shall likely buy an OxiData product again because its excellent product and tech support.

Is this printer able to feed 80lb and 130lb paper that is used on invitations? Also is it able to easily feed envelopes?

  The printer can handle the extra paper stock, but make sure you are not feeding in more sheets then it can fit at once.

  The compatibly of the OKI C330dn printer with vinyl labels depends on the type of vinyl labels, if they laser compatible the OKI will work just fine. However if they are inkjet labels it's not a good match.

Q:
Basically need to know if this uses a drum or imaging kit that need replacing; what is the yield of either of the above; and does it need a waste toner collection box/bottle? In other words, besides the cost of ink, what other supplies will be needed down the road?

Had a Lexmark and after 20000 copies needed a $220 black imaging kit; after 2nd 20000 copies now need a $300 black/color kit. Am I going to have same expense with this one?
