I purchased this item so it would look like a piece of furniture in my sitting room. This filing cabinet achieves that purpose very well. I only wish I could have gotten it in a three-drawer cabinet. I also appreciate the fact that it's seems to be made of sturdy construction.

I purchased this piece to use next to writing table. The color is near perfect match. Also, is a good match with the 4-drawer file cabinet from different vendor. This piece has a nice look similar to furnishings in an executive office. After assembling the piece, I am very pleased with the results. I gave four stars because the assembly, though not difficult, took a few minutes. It took my handyman husband about 30 minutes to assemble, and he was able to put all the pieces together with out problem. I guess, given the cost, it was worth the effort to assembly.
