I bought this filing cabinet for my home office. I did not realize it came with a lock and keys and was pleasantly surprised.
It has the drop in filing so that is perfect for my needs. (I hate having to buy the additional hanging racks which was what other competitors require for filing cabinets priced in a similar range.)
For my office I bought the granite color and it works perfectly.
I plan to buy another one now that I see the quality of this one.

This is one of the most poorly constructed objects I have ever bought in my entire life.

The drawers do not pull out all the way, so reaching files in the back of the drawers is very difficult. I put spacers back there to push all of the files to the front.

Once the file cabinet is filled with paper, the graphite body is too weak to support the weight and bends and warps when you try to open a drawer.

Both handles have fallen off. And I only bought it a few months ago.

I made the mistake of purchasing this online. Had I seen it in person in a store I probably wouldn't have bought it.

Never have I seen a product of any kind that was so unsuccessful in achieving its purpose for existence.

This product is so awful that I believe it is unethical for Staples to even offer it to its customers in the first place.

Personal business that is starting to grow and I needed a file cabinet. I chose this one mainly for the price and this was the cheapest I could find, through staples. I think this is a little over priced but, eh, so I knocked off a star. If it was in the thirties range then 5 stars, its pressed aluminum, it cant cost that much to manufacture. The drawers are nice and smooth, made for file hangers so no additional cost of file rails. So if you need a 2 draw file cabinet, get this one, if you find it on sale then grab it then at least the price will be justified.

Staples is consistently offering what I'm looking for, and the value for what I'm interested in is always worth the savings I get from Staples. This file cabinet isn't stylish or heavy duty like the ones you work with or used in work places, but for home use, it is far above the cheap stuff you have to put together and end up stripping screws or cracking plastic pieces before realizing you just wasted your money again. This product represents the value I consistently get from purchases I make at Staples.
