I work from home so I spend at least 8 hours a day sat at my desk. I had an old cheap, plastic leather effect chair and I believe this in combination with a terrible vinyl chair mat (replaced with a laminate wood chair mat from Staples) was starting to give me back pains after sitting in it for a while as the padding had gone and due to its high arms I couldn't get close to the desk and it kept rolling back into the indentations in the chair mat.I was wary about buying online without testing the chair first but I figured it has lots of adjustability and the arms look like they adjust low. When it arrived I was relieved to find I could adjust it exactly how I wanted and it is very comfortable and and the arms can go under the keyboard pull-out on my computer desk. After over a month of use, this in combination with the new chair mat has basically made the back pain go away.It rolls effortlessly on the new chair mat so I can get into the perfect position, the fabric appears to be of commercial grade and is cool to sit on all day and the padding has just the right thickness and firmness. Even though the description doesn't mention it, it seems to me as if part of the padding is made of memory foam or something similar (middle of the base and back retain a hand print for a second or two) so I'm hoping this will last a while.[...] The assembly instructions were not the best, but then it isn't rocket science and it goes together in the same way as just about any other chair. The core bits of the chair, besides the base are heavy duty steel making it very sturdy but it also makes the whole chair very heavy so some might need help lifting it into place. And of course you only have to put it together once in theory!
