The supports are in 2 pieces - even with the flimsy small metal brackets, the shelf still shakes. One of the shelves bent a little out of its wood holes, and the pegs broke. Would NOT recommend this bookcase at all!

The shelving unit looks decent when completed, but very flimsy construction. It would have been better for them to allow you to completely construct the unit instead of having holes predrilled and fasteners attached. Definitely not worth the money. [...]

Okay product. Looks nice, but nothing special. [...]Underside is not painted/stained in all spots. Okay for the price, but you can do better. FYI, the long vertical section comes in 2 partsAnother con is you cannot use powertools, because it's specialized screw keys. Unfortunately this means hand screwing in some very tight areas where you cannot rotate the allen key 360 degrees. Took 3h to setup what would have taken 20 mins with a power drill.
