              What is the difference between buying a drum cartridge and toner? Why are there 2 yields shown?

              • A:

                Most often you need to just replace the toner cartridge. The toner cartridge is cheaper than the drum. Ever so often the drum also has to be replaced, which is why they sell the drum and the toner. Your machine will tell you which needs to be replaced, so that you purchase the correct part.
