Fairly inexpensive for a color laser.

The black toner will last me for thousands of copies. Beats the older generation ink jets by miles.

Toner Empty Msg-Toner Is Left-No Print

The most frustrating thing about this great printer with individual toner cartridges is the FACT that the cartridges have a counter in them. You will get a 'Toner Empty' message and you will not be able to print. In reality, you do have toner left in the cartridge. I was doing a huge print run and had to purchase many cartridges. I collected toner from the 'Empty'cartridges and put into another cartridge that was empty - filled it completely up. When I put the FULL cartridge in to use....guess what. EMPTY TONER message and it would not let me print. At the cost of replacement cartridges, this is a rip off.

We own several C5800L Okidata printers. Not having to change a whole cartridge when one color runs out is great. The color printing is excellent with the toner cartridges. Yes it is costly but well worth it.
