M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 40-150mm f4.0-5.6 is extremely light, weighing only 6.7 ounces. With a wide zoom range with a 35mm equivalent to 80-300mm, this lens offers versatility and portability. It's an affordable complement to the powerfully simple 3x wide-angle zoom lens (M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42 f3.5-5.6) that comes standard with the PEN kit. The M.ZUIKO 40-150mm has two lens elements in the rear focusing mechanism. The focusing mechanism is designed to deliver quiet and precise operation, for an affordable, high quality means to capture your life in still images or HD videos.

          [...] Ordered this lens to get a couple of close-ups of my SON TO BE BORN, but received the lens in non working condition and had to do it with my kit lens! my bad luck, no stock in my area on that day!! No other words, nothing positive or negative. I bought a Canon T2i from Canon directly and I am happy now. Buy a Nikon or Canon Standard DSLR, you will get the accessories anywhere and at crisis you can borrow it from a friend or rent it.

            Lens tube seems to be made of composite materials. So delighted with the lack of weight this adds to the cameras overall weight. Works great, so far optics are excellent.                     Just recieved this lens for my E-PL1 and I was surprised how light and small it is. It has a great Zoom range and the pictures look great with it. I use this inside and outside and it took good pictures. Happy with this purchase.
