The VF-2 Live Finder, for the E-P2 or E-PL1, easily slides into the camera's accessory port and hot shoe when needed - for example, when shooting in direct sunlight.

Its high magnification and built-in diopter adjustment offer easy viewing with and without eyeglasses. You can also adjust the brightness and color temperature of the view finder using the E-P2's EVF ADJUST menu function. Brightness can be modified + or - seven steps.

  • Resolution: Approx. 1,440,000 dots
  • Tilts up to 90 degrees
  • Approx. 1.15x magnification (-1m-1, 50 mm Macro, at infinity)
  • Eye-point: Approx. 18 mm (-1m-1)
  • Diopter adjustment (-3.0 to +m-1)
  • Frame rate: 60 fps
  • Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) technology enables high-speed transfer of high-resolution images.
  • Aspherical lenses ensure high resolution from center to edge.
  • EVF brightness and color temperature adjustment via camera menu (EVF ADJUST)
  • Dimensions: 1.15"W x 1.9"H x 1.82"D 1.2 oz. without cover

Note: The VF-2 cannot be used at the same time as an external flash or microphone adapter. When the VF-2 is connected to the E-P2, do not carry the camera by holding the VF-2.

      Makes the camera really great to use. The Diopter Adjustment is easy and effective - I can't read the info on the LED display without glasses but I can with a simple turn of the eyepiece. The image is startlingly bright at first but it is not a negative in any way. This is a great accessory.

          External viewfinder for Olympus M4/3 cameras. Essential for taking pictures in full sun as LCD screen is almost useless in very bright conditions. EVF is almost as good as optical viewfinder of DSLR's. Finder can be moved through different angles so useful for low-level closeup photography. Eyepiece could be larger but consistent with camera size.

          when I first looked into it I could hardly believe it was a digital image. Way better than similarly specced competitors evf. Makes shooting in bright sunlight a brease, and improves tracking moving subjects.

          Almost as clear as an optical viewfinder. Gives all camera info present on LCD. Can be turned on or off. Great for focusing older manual focus lenses. Great when the sun's out and washes out the LCD ( almost a necessity ) Downside is it uses the flash shoe, but small price to pay. Great product.
