Q: When in record mode, is it possible to pickup recording after playback of the file. For instance, if I am dictating, and get distracted and do not recall what I last said, am I able to playback the last few seconds of the recording and begin recording from the end of that file, without it starting a new recording? Asked on 1/29/2013 by Bradley from United States Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: When using this product you can pause the recording and resume recording from the same spot at a later time. However, when you playback previously recorded content, your recording will stop not pause. This will create a new file for recording content you return to recording mode. Q: How would one transcribe from this device onto hard copy? Is there a foot pedal to start and stop the dictation? Is it possible for this device to transcribe directly to a computer (voice recognition?) - without someone needing to manually transcribe the recording? We are currently using a dictaphone with microcasette tapes and transcribing from them. Wondering how this technology differs from that. Asked on 12/19/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This technology allows easier storage of media and allows storage on the computer. While there may be soft where that would transcript the media it is beyond the scope of this technology. Answered on 12/19/2012 by Community Answer from None
