More good than bad

PROS1.This shredder is VERY heavy. This could be an indication of its all metal shredder construction(not including the plastic cover).2.Strong motor.No jamming. Large sheet capacity.3.Easy to empty. Large bin capacity.CONS1.Heavy.2.Noisy. Could have put more insulation to deaden the noise. However,most powerful motors do tend to be noisy.3.Stupid curved feeder port.Looks good,but I have to actually put my fingers right up to the feeder port in order to start a full sheet of paper. If I fold the paper into a smaller than 8.5" width, the feeder port will grab the paper & feed it automatically. More of a nuisance than anything else.CONCLUSIONWell made. Powerful. Large sheet/bin capacity.Change the curved 'decorator' feed port & add a little more noise deadening insulation & I believe this shredder would be a '10'. As it is, I give it an '8'.I am a heavy shredder user & have had no problems with this shredder.If you can put up with the noise & the weight when removing to dump the bin, I would consider this shredder.The original price was [$]. Sale price [$]. $50 credit for my old,no-working shredder brought my final price to [$].

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM, CHEAP PLASTIC PIECE BROKE IN THE BIN WITHIN ONE MONTH AND NOW THE WHOLE UNIT WON'T WORK!!! OMNITECH WANTS $25 TO REPLACE THE BIN - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THANKS!!

Insertion angle for paper is awkward. Very noisy but does the job once you get the paper in. Would be better if the basket slid out. You have to lift the very heavy top to empty the basket.

Much better and cheaper than other shredders. Chews up even more than 15 pages, and yes, it actually seems like it chews the paper , as it disappears into its bucket. Would love to have bucket full indicator but not a biggie.

OK for home use. However, do not like the extremely loud, grinding noise it makes when used. Don't know if this is normal for this brand or if mine is bad, sounds like a thrashing machine when operating. Wish the flimsy plastic bin was of wire mesh to see when nearing full to be emptied. However for the sale price it is OK.
