This is a great light, nice compact design and adequate light. The ONLY problem is that there is NO replacement bulb avalable anywhere except from OTT LITE online at a cost of 20.00 + [$]. So, I guess why by a replacement bulb, when I can get a new lamp plus bulb for 29.00. ???

I purchased this light at the beginning of May 2010. The bulb burned out this week (beginning of August 2010) and I can't find a replacement bulb ANYWHERE. It seems the only way to get a replacement is to buy one on the Ott-Lite website, but they cost $19.99. I might as well just buy a whole new light that comes with a bulb. Does not live up to all of the hype.

I am a student and work long hours into the middle of the night. I bought this hoping to help illuminate my working area, which it did not do. It looks good, and will keep you from tripping over things on the floor, but you will never be able to work or read by this light.

The light is good enough for reading, but since the lamp is too small it can only lights up small area, so I can not work with two computers on each end of my desk.
