Needing a PDF converter but not wishing to spend over $300 was an issue. Adobe Acrobat - too expensive. PDF Create 7 - does the job.

I needed this software to convert xif files to PDF files, This software says it will convert ANY extension. I called Nuance the maker of this program and they say they have no idea how to convert that extension. Even though that that extension is created by a previous version of there program.

Well worth the price. I only needed a cost effective solution to combine multiple pdfs into one file. Great focused solution when comparing price to Adobe Acrobat.
It doesn't have all the editing features Acrobat does, but it works really well for my use.

Q:
I have two scanners and one comes with a process for scanning and saving that is difficult and unreliable. Would this product allow me an alternate method of controlling the scanner? I don't know the technacilities of the scanner, but it is off-the-shelf and appears to use rather mainstream technical processes.
