Just like we all need to check the air pressure in our tires each month, a simple upgrade to increase computer memory is worth the investment and buys a lot: fast power-up, faster application start-up, including multiple connections to internet pages. Recommend giving your system as much memmory it can support - fill it to capacity. Too many people like me struggle with slow systems for too long, when the solution is a cheap upgrade away.

no good to me, gave computer to staples guy. he checked his book and sold me the 1 gig memory.
got it home, installed, computer locked up wont start. did a little more research online and found that the expansion slot only able to take 256 additional memory. of course, open memory package is not returnable...
yeah i should have done my own research before i went in but i thought the staples guy would have the right info in store and save me a little time
anyone need an unused 1 gig memory??/

Added 2GB to my 572, but had to toss the two 512mb that were in the machine to have them fit. Read your manual first, then go for this upgrade. Very well worth the effort if you are aware of what RAM can/cannot do to improve your machine. Applications run great now and Internet pages load better and faster.
