I use this mainly for a 4 MP digital camera (Canon A520).

It's not a good card for the ReadyBoost feature in Vista. The laptop I tried to use this card for rejects it when I try to use it this way. I also have a 2 GB Sandisk Class 2 SD card (the blue one) that works well for this purpose.

For basic file storage and still pics in inexpensive point-and-shoot cams, it's great. But if you need music, video, or higher speed (2+ MB sec.) look elsewhere.

Hard to find plain SD cards the world has moved on to HD cards while I have devices that only accept plain SD

I would have bought the wrong memory card had it not been for the help of one of the sales staff, who was very knowledgeable & explained why this (cheaper than I was going to buy) one would work in my camera & the other wouldn't!
