Should have upgraded my 2005 Dell long ago to 2GB, however the 1GB upgrade did a good job for 3 years. Enjoy much faster startup and web page loading and can have several tabs opened now without freezing up. I'm maxed out now on memory so I hope I can get 3 more years out of my Dell.

Before installing my PC was slower than a turtle trying to cross a road, now I just click and BAM!!! I'm there!! =) I had only change two out of my four slots and I'm going to purchase the other two just because. FYI:My PC is an OLD DELL 8300 series

This memory has a latency "CAS 4". The current memory I have in my computer has a latency "CL3". Will this difference in latencies be a problem or will they still work in tandem?
