    I have always found Panasonic products to be quality made and durable. That being said this unit's drive grinds something terrible on disc load.
    I'll reserve judgement on its durability.

    Full featured machine at a very low price. With the 1080p Up Conversion HDMI, I get a fantastic picture on my 42" HDTV. This unit is connected to my Home Theatre Surround System, and it produces superior, high quality sound.
    This powerful little machine has all the features of the more expensive models, including slow motion, frame by frame and zoom and plays DVD/DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+R/DVD+RW/DVD+R DL/DVD-R DL/SVC/VCD/CD/CD-R/CD-RW formats
