We replaced an older ATT unit with fewer features. this has every feature we could want. Having the handsets link address books ids great. Great intercom feature. I would recommend it. Worth the money.

Q:
I'm going to ask this question again because it was not properly answered for the other person that asked it.

When scrolling the History of Incoming Calls. Can I return the call, with clicking on a Caller ID? or do I need to redial the number?

I have a phone now that the Caller ID shows up without the "1" in front of the number and therefore I need to redial the full number, in order to return the call

To elaborate on this previously asked question: on normal phones you just go into the caller ID and find the entry you want to call and press the talk key to dial this number out. however this phone adds "1" to every single incoming call (even local numbers) therefore I cannot make any local calls without typing out the entire number again without the added "1". is there anyway to disable this?

  Yes, this product does have a feature called "Caller ID auto edit". You will need to first edit a local number in your caller ID list then call that number. Once that is completed, any calls in that area code will be automatically edited. This feature can also be turned off (per handset) if you move to a different area by accessing the "Initial setting" menu then setting the "Caller ID edit" to "off".

  To set the date and time on this phone (it only needs to be set on one handset), select menu, use the up or down arrows to toggle to "Date and time" and select OK. Enter the current month, date and year by selecting two digits for each. Enter the current hour and minute (in the 12 hour clock format) by selecting two digits for each - remember to add a 0 before single digit hours. Press * to select AM or PM, press OK and then press OFF.
