All other 2 line phones sold here were examined carefully and this phone seemed to be the best. I was doubtful whether this phone would work with a dedicated fax line using line 2 (I saw nothing whether I could turn the answering machine off completely for line 2) and it does work. The answering machine doesn't come on at all when I receive a fax. The base phone works in a power outage as tested today.

Love Panasonic,hate this phone

My reception is half what my last panasonic was. I always use a headset and the volume pops high and low during conversations so I have to ask my clients to repeat information constantly. If I turn the phone during conversations my reception changes dramatically. My handsets ring in sequence so sometimes I can't answer the call until I get within 20' of the base. I am very disappointed and will be contacting Panasonic.
It was very easy to set up. Nice ringtone options.

DECT&GSM pblm fixed and stock recalled&fixed as per Panasonic US&EU. Use line 1 for home & front door, line 2 for business. This is first pass review, more to come

I bought an AT&T 2 line phone about 3 years ago and haven't used the handsets for the last year because of problems with the base station. I spent the extra money for the Panasonic system, (which wasn't that much more than the AT&T) and have to say that it is clearly better. The software is easy to understand and use, the set-up took me all of 10 minutes, and after the 2 additional handsets charged, (min. 7 hours), they registered to the base station without a hitch. My base station is in a 2nd floor "office" of my home, and the 2 handsets are in a detached garage nearly 100 to 150 feet away, easily. The handsets sound clear and crisp. I pace when I am on the phone with customers, finding myself walking all around my yard.... the Panasonic is there with me the whole time. I look forward to a lower cell phone bill now..... So far this product meets and in some cases exceeds my expectations.

Can be setup so Line 2 is outgoing calls and Line 1 incoming calls and Handset is properly synced.
Answering machine and phonebook memory not lost with 4 hour power outage. (Date and Time were lost).
Both Handset and SpeakerPhone sound quality were very good.
