  • Q:

I have a Panasonic dvd hone theater system model no SC-XH170 and trying to connect to a Samsung LED 55 inch TV Model no. UN55EH6000FXSA. I connected whith a HDMI cable and don't get either audio or video. Also tried using a video and audio cable, and still no success. Any idea what to do.

      A:

Please refer to the owners manual on how you set up your speakers. The manual can be viewed on the manufactures website :
      http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/SC-XH170?t=manuals&support#tabs
Panasonic recommends that you connect the home theater system to your TV with an HDMI cable. If your TV does not have a HDMI input then Panasonic recommends that you use a Yellow video cable to connect the system to the TV's video input. Two audio cables (usually red and white) must also be used for the audio left and audio right connections. Please note: Using the yellow cable will result in standard video quality, not HD.
