I wanted my granddaughter to know the feel of writing with a fountain pen. I would have bought her a new pen but couldn't afford the prices. I have several fountain pens that I've bought over the years and even though they cost under $5.00, they write perfectly well. I also have quite a few caligraphy pens and a whole set of them cost under $40.00 so I see no use in paying over [$] for just one pen, bring back the useful, under $5.00 pens!

I have started using ink pens to write. I wanted blue ink but for some reason a lot of manufacturers seem to prefer black. I wish dark blue ink were available.
