This is a nice all metal pen. It writes smoothly and is very attractive. There aren't many nicer looking pens. The QuinkFlow refill doesn't skip, although I prefer a finer point. I can't speak to the longevity as I've already lost it less than two weeks after I bought it. The only real negative aspect that I discovered in my short time with the Jotter is that the very tip of the barrel will dent quite easily if dropped on a hard surface. I like metal pens for their robust nature, but this one wasn't quite as heavy duty as others I've used. Overall, it's a very nice pen and I'd buy it again.

I have used the Jotter with a colored barrel for decades. It was my favorite, go to pen. I was dazzled by the shiny stainless for a few dollars more and it was a mistake. I have to agree with Dipwadicus the jotter with the colored barrel is less expensive and a better design. The primary reason is that the sleekness makes it difficult to grip without using a death grip on the barrel or wearing latex gloves.
I have to also agree with a comment made by someone reviewing the refills. I noticed and compared my handwriting with the new pen and my old jotter. My old pen had more deliberate, clear letters rather than slipping so my writing was intentional and neater. I looked at where they each were made and found that those made in USA or England are better than those made in France or China. Unfortunately when you look at the refill package, where it is made is on the back of the refill, not the package and you can't see it until you open it.
I can only recommend the jotter with the colored barrel to my friends not the stainless pen.
This is one of the only pens made that a leftie with the "leftie hook" (like myself) won't smear. The ink dries immediately. I cannot use Cross or Bic pens of any kind. My hand ends up blue and the paper looks terrible. Only Parker T-Ball (I think they dropped that part from the name) Jotters leave clean hand and paper. Pen is also very good looking.

Q:
Will the FINE POINT Parker refill work with this pen? I see it states Medium on the pen's details. But I'd like to buy the fine point refill if it is compatible.
Sorry but the fine point refill is not compatible with this pen. You'd have to purchase the fine point pen, in order to get one compatible with the fine point refill.
