        It works on most Apple devices running iOS 4.3 or newer, including the iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches. On Android, it works with smart phones running an operating system version of 2.3.3 or newer, so Gingerbread and later devices. PayPal does say that they do not currently support Android tablets.

        No, the LG800 device uses a proprietary operating system. The PayPal credit card reader and associated application only work with Apple iOS or Android 2.2.3 (Gingerbread) and higher.
