The Lightweight Suspended Ceiling Plate for projector mounts consists of an 8"(203mm) x 24"(610mm) filler tray and a 15.75"(400mm) x 24"(610mm) ceiling tray suspended by four tie wires from the true ceiling above.

  • Load capacity up to 50 lbs
  • Replaces a 2' x 2' ceiling tile or mounts above existing 2' x 2' or 2' x 4' ceiling tile to structural ceiling with tie wires
  • Includes tie wire supports, flush mount tube and offers two knockout panels for outlet boxes
  • Two-piece design offers five different points for mount attachment
  • Unit has 1-1/2"-11.5 npt fitting for attachment of extension column
  • Three position mounting capabilities--off center to left or right and centered--and antenna leads
  • Knockout panel for electrical outlet box

    Is everything included in this kit to install a projector in a 2x2 drop ceiling panel, or is there another piece needed to attach the projector to the panel? If another piece is needed, do you know what I will need to complete the project? Thank you! -Matt

      The projector replaces a 2' x 2' ceiling tile or mounts above existing tile after being secure to structural ceiling with wire ties.
