This scale was purchased to avoid having to look at a chart for large envelope mailings. The "Letter Holder" does not toggle the user between postal rates. The download of rates is easy if you read the manual. Pelouze's website does not provide initial guidance and the manual includes "icons" that are not displayed on the site. All that said, we are returning this product.

This scale is the most difficult I have ever tried to use. I've had it a year and only use it get a weight. It is too hard to discern the correct postage. I updated it online last September 07 and need another update but have to pay for it. That makes a penny rate increase cost the equivalent of almost 900 1 cent stamps! I'll keep it, but I'm going to online postage.

I've had numerous scales and Pelouze (Dymo) has obsoleted them all within a couple of years.

I bought this for the fact that it was suppose to be compatible with computers. But, with my new MAC with windows installed, it would not work. Part of the price you are paying for is the download of rates.

It is a good scale and easy to use if just weighing But, I want to get what I pay for.
