I bought the pendaflex with the 5 tabs already attached to the folder, and you have to fold them up to a zip-lock type attachment....blecch...I like the clear plastic inserts better.The 'rod' or 'wire' the folders hang on to seem to be better constructed, but time will tell this tale.Definitely like the old inserts, these smaller ones may be 'greener' but I like having something to hold onto when I write on it [...]

Too Thick

Because they are designed to be stronger on top, the hangers are very thick. I can't carry the amount I normally would in the portable file box I use between home and the office....Read complete review

Because they are designed to be stronger on top, the hangers are very thick. I can't carry the amount I normally would in the portable file box I use between home and the office. In addition, because the hangers are so thick, there isn't enough room to insert the tabs. I want to return them but can't find the receipt. Very disappointed.

      Purchased fild folders and when I started using them, everyone of the folder had thee glue dry out allowing the metal hangerss to fall to the bottom of folders. Have to tape each side of folder to keep the metal hangers in place. Sorry construction. Do not purchase.

          getting the reinforced folders was worth the extra money in keeping documents protected in primarily non-storage files. the folders will never rip like the regular ones are prone to do if taken in and out multiple times with a load of documents inside.

              The hanging files are great, nice construction and roll easily on the file cabinet. These seem much more heavy duty than the older style. I bought another box, I loved them so much. I like that they have a coating on them, I think that they will last forever. If you need hanging files, I would highly recommend this style.

              They last a long time but the glue does give out after time that holds the hangers in. That and the hangers slide out the sides - wish they made them permanent. Also some folders tend to slide out the sides if you use them to hold folders.
