Ordered on line and thought I was getting a different style with push button operation. Instead got this model with removable cap. Both styles are Ener-Gel and use the identical cartridge. The mistake of getting a pen with a cap was actually a benefit because I often wear shirts without any pockets and have to put my pen in my pants pocket. Guess how many pants I have ruined with ink stains from a push button pen opening in my pocket? Countless. Solution: Simply buy a pen with a secure cap. This mistake was a blessing and the pen is awesome as well. The cap clicks securely in place (either end of the pen) and will never inadvertently come off.
Bonus is that it writes extremely well and the ink flow is perfect!

      Great blue color for recorded documents. Not so dark that it looks black. Dark enough to be picked by by copier. Shows up great on scanned documents.
      Truly does not smear after writing a word!
      The .7mm is the perfect ink thickness. I write tiny and it doesn't "blob" when writing like other thick .7mm pens.
