      This is my pen and ink of choice. I do a lot of editing documents and this is great. I also do lots of word puzzles and this is better than using a black or blue pen and much better than using a color marker. It lasts well and is easy to replace. The price is great.

                Is this red refill usable in the Pental Energel .7mm Metal Tip Pen? The box I have states to use LR7 refill cartridge.

                  unfortunately, while the red refill cartridge (LRN7) in question would be usable in a pentell pen, it would not be compatible in the .7mm model. Pentell specifically lists the LR7 cartridge, found here: http://www.pentel.com/store/energel-gel-pen-refill-173 , to be used with said pen. In regards to the LRN7 cartridge, it can be used in the Pentell model BLN77 EnerGel® Deluxe RTX Liquid Gel Pen, found here: http://www.pentel.com/store/energel-deluxe-rtx-gel-pen-1541 .
