I have been a teacher and administrator for 30 years. I write hard and often break leads. This pen, with its weight and balance and thicker lead was a life saver. The only downside is that when I bring it to a meeting, people want to borrow it and not give it back. Our architectural drawing instructor has borrowed 3 of them!!

Pen is a decent instrument except that the pocket clip is so tight you need 2 hands to clip it in your pocket and also 2 hands to get it out. If you simply grab it near the top you pull the top off then you need to reach down in your pocket for the other half of the pen. It comes out hard because the clip is so tight.

Excellent general mechanical pencil, well-made, good to the hand, comfortable and secure uncushioned grip and good balance, useful clip, blue color helpful to identify and find. It comes with 3 or 4 about 2B leads - plan to use it enough to refill. Good white pencil eraser, but it can come out and get lost.

This is the best .7 mm pencil that I have used, and it's inexpensive! It has a firmly held tip without any wobble, so that the lead does not easily crack. The thumb click feeds the lead easily and the large eraser is great without any smudging; all while using only one hand. Even the clip is great; it has lust enough spring to slip onto a shirt pocket without any resistance, but tight enough to keep it in place.
