Great pens, great colors!

I love how easily these pens glide across a variety of paper. They are comfortable to use and they are great for creating color coding for kid's chore charts - and for making cute notes to put into their lunches! But they aren't just for kids, I use them for recipes using different colors for baking temperature, length of baking, etc. as well as just a change of pace from the usual blue or black pen for every day notes.

I was surprised by how quickly the ink ran out. I used it for less than 2 weeks when I noticed that the ink started skipping and then was running out. I didn't use it very often either. I was very disappointed as I thought it was a nice pen when I started using it. It glided well and was comfortable to grip. Can't believe this is Pentel quality. I won't buy these again; not very cost-effective.

I bought this pack of pens in the clearance section because it was a great buy. I am so glad I did. I will have to find a use for the purple pen but I have been using the red, black and blue pens and I really like them. They write smoothly and there's no skipping.

The pens quit working after a few weeks of light use, even though the ink cartridge was still almost full. I would never buy this product again.

  Yes - Staples has them on a carousel with other ink refills (not necessarily hanging next to the pens). But only for the black or blue colors.
