It's very smooth and easy to grip. It's also unbreakable, no matter how many times it gets thrown around in my book bag, it stays whole.

The ink is pretty long lasting, but the main problem was the fact that the ink exploded inside the pen. It still actually works, and maybe that was just a one time thing.
