These are my favorite pencils for work. They write smoothly and the even though the lead is thin, it doesn't break like other cheaper pencils do. I wish the .5 lead pencil came in different colors and sold in stores.

These pencils are the only pencils I use now. They are not cheap, but are so easy to use, the lead RARELY if ever breaks and there is very little lead waste. I actually never can tell when I've reached the end of one lead & am on to a new one, so there is something of a seamless lead transition, which is great. It's comfortable to hold for long periods. I'm a music student and teacher and use this for everything, personal as well as business. These are the best!
