    I primarily use mechanical pencils to draw with, but I find any other type of lead refill difficult to draw with. However, the graphite in this product is soft and makes little indentation to the nearly all types of paper, making ideal to draw with. It is easy to blend the graphite using a tortillion, but left alone, it will not smudge easily.

    The product is also good for fast note taking for reasons similar to drawing and breaks very rarely when writing.

    This item is much cheaper in a multi pack, and it is relatively difficult to find this type of lead compared with other types.
