      I use this pencil constantly. I'll use a pen for some things, but most of the time, I'm using pencil, and it's this pencil. No other. Mechanical pencils are always sharp, and this one has a long, twist-to-advance eraser, which rarely smudges. What's not to love? I prefer the Express over the Twist Erase III, as it's cheaper, and lighter. The Twist Erase III is sturdier, but as the Express is cheaper, if it breaks, I just start another. It seems silly to love a pencil so much, but I'm crazy about the Pentel Twist Erase Express. My wife is all about Pilot G-2 pens - for me, it's this pencil.

        We prefer a .5mm pencil, and this is substantial and solid - feels good in my husband's large hands. Soft grip is comfortable too.
