Only own this product if properly trained in CPR. AED's themselves are easy to use and cannot do harm as the computer in the AED determines whether shock is necessary or not. The operator cannot shock anyone accidentally. I do own a company that trains people in CPR, First Aid and other disciplines and this unit is a great buy if not used in a setting where it would be bounced around a lot. This is the unit that I recommend to most of my clients unless it is intended for use in police, fire or ambulance vehicles.
Everyone should learn CPR and how to use an AED. To many people die each year because people think calling 911 is the answer. We cannot get there in time. Become a Lifesaver...Learn CPR.

I have seen this product in use on several Emergency Medical responses. Unit delivers an electro cardial shock when computer detects specific rythms. Unit is sensitive to vibrations to prevent shocking an unsuspecting caregiver. Use caution in dusty or humid environments, also be sure unit is type accepted for industrial applications if needed. Furthermore, verify with your local Medical Control (State Health Department) on applicable permits, rules, regulations, and laws. May need a prescription to purchase in some areas. Unit is good for single patient use. Once used on a patient contact manufacturer for replacement options. Best for light commercial or home users with young to elderly adults. THIS UNIT SHOULD NOT BE USED ON CHILDREN UNDER EIGHTY (80) POUNDS!

The product is AMAZING. My office bought one and I was intrigued. After research on Cardiac Arrest, I bought one because we have a history of heart issues in our family.
It is so simple to use. I used the training kit (that was included) to practice and my 7 year old followed the voice prompts and was able to deliver a shock in under 1 minute!
I bring it to all my kids games and my games too. Great design and easy to use. The cheapest insurance policy you will ever buy!
